What's actually in a Myers' Cocktail?

5 min read

The Myers' Cocktail is our most popular drip. Here is what is inside the bag and why people love it.

The Myers' Cocktail is one of the oldest and best-known IV vitamin blends. It was named after Dr. John Myers, a physician who used a similar mix with his patients decades ago.

What's inside

  • Fluids: about 500 mL of saline to help you rehydrate.

  • Vitamin C: a key antioxidant.

  • B-complex and B12: vitamins your body uses to turn food into energy.

  • Magnesium and calcium: minerals that support muscles and nerves.

Who it's for

Many clients book a Myers' Cocktail when they feel run down, after a busy travel week, or as a monthly reset. It is a good first drip if you are not sure where to start.

What to expect

Your nurse will review your health history and check your vitals first. The drip takes about 45 minutes. Some people notice a warm feeling or a vitamin taste in their mouth during the drip, which is normal and passes quickly.
